General Éigse Policies

Policies

Alcohol

There is no alcohol for sale at ÉIGSE but you can bring your own! Please drink responsibly and only after the talks and workshops are finished.

Accommodation

Unfortunately, due to indoor space restrictions, if fully booked, we cannot sleep less than 3 people in the dorm rooms and nor can we guarantee single-sex accommodation (though we do try)! If this is a concern or priority for you then we would ask you to contact us and/or consider camping or staying in one of the local B&Bs off-site as an alternative.

Mobility

Please be aware that access to the accommodation and dining area is up a number of stairs, if you have any mobility issues or concerns please contact a member of the Organisation Team in advance- eigse.spiorad@gmail.com

Children and minors

This is a child-friendly event but not child-centered. Children / minors and young people under 16 are free, but accommodation and food tickets must be purchased in advance, if necessary. We encourage camping as the best option if you are coming with minors.

Please register children/minors on arrival and each one must be accompanied by a registered responsible parent or adult guardian at ALL times.

Smoking and vaping

Smoking and / or vaping are both strictly prohibited indoors, during ceremony / ritual and outdoors during workshops / talks. Please be mindful of other people nearby if you are smoking or vaping even if outdoors.

Litter and rubbish

Please bring ALL your rubbish and recycling home with you, nothing is to be left on-site at the end of the weekend.

Clean up

As we are a community-based gathering; washing up, cleaning up, tidying the site etc is a communal responsibility after all meal times, talks / workshops and at the end of the festival itself. Time has been allocated on the last day for this and we really appreciate your help!

Refund Policy

Tickets are transferrable. Please contact us by email and we can amend the names on your ticket/s. If you need to cancel your ticket for any reason, we offer a 100% refund up to 90 days before the event and 50% between 30 and 90 days. Unfortunately, cancellations within 30 days of the event cannot be refunded but can be transferred.

Antisocial Behaviour

The Organisers reserve the right to ask anyone to leave at any time over the weekend due to antisocial or offensive behaviour.

Dogs

Dogs are allowed if you are camping or staying in a campervan. However, dogs are not allowed at workshops or Night Court. You must clean up after your dog/s and you are responsible for it / them at all times.
Dogs must be kept on a lead and please be very mindful of other people and animals in the vicinity as Clara House is also a deer farm.

Complaints

If you have any complaints or feedback you can speak to any member of The Event Organisation Team in confidence or contact us by email- eigse.spiorad@gmail.com
